My Message

Hi folks,

I have been invited to play in this charity hockey tournament through my company Compugen on April 27th. I am grateful and honoured for the invite as not only it goes towards a good cause, but I may get the opportunity to play with or against some NHL alumini.

The tournament is called the Tech4Good Ice Challenge, held at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville. The tournament is in support of Connected North which is a program that supports Indigenous communities.

They provide mental health and wellness services to students in those communities using interactive, high definition video. They support communities within the northern remote areas of Canada. Today, Connected North operates 41 schools, serving nearly 10,000 students. They are hoping to increase that number by raising funds towards this cause.

Compugen has set a goal of $10,000 towards the Connected North program. We have done a tremendous job so far, contributing over $3000 so far. However, I would like to my part to help us reach this goal or even surpass it.

I have set a personal goal of $500 which I am hoping to raise in time for the tournament.

If anyone wishes to donate, I have provided the link at the bottom of this message. Any amount would be greatly appeciated and it is going towards an excellent cause.

If you are unable to donate, but in the Oakville area on April 27th, feel free to stop by the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex and watch a bunch of old guys hack it up with much better old guys.
